What I Learned Today: 4/24/12

Today's theme at daycare was Venus.

• We played a counting game
• We pretended to be on Venus under all the clouds.
• We made a Venus painting.

I didn't come home with a Venus painting, but I came home with this planet counter so I can practice counting from 1-20.

What I Learned Today: 4/23/12

Today's theme at daycare was Pluto.

• We made planet book.
• We read "Rocket Ship Trip".
• We talked about how Pluto is no longer a planet because it's so small.

What I Learned Today: 4/20/12

Today's theme at daycare was Mars.

• We painted mars and it's moons.
• We played a planet matching game.
• We made a sand tub in the sensory table.

What I Learned Today: 4/19/12

Today's theme at daycare was Mercury.

• We sang Mercury's Orbit.
• We painted Mercury's Crater.
• We read Mercury & the Moon.

Mommy can't find my painting so it must have been eaten by Diego. :-P

What I Learned Today: 4/18/12

Today's theme at daycare was Saturn.

• We practiced twirling like Saturn.
• We played a planet matching game.
• We sang Saturn's song.

What I Learned Today: 4/17/12

Today's theme as daycare was Neptune.

• We made a swirling Neptune.
• We played ring around Neptune.
• We reviewed ASL signs.

What I Learned Today: 4/16/12

Today's theme at daycare was Uranus.

• We colored the book "What do you see". 
• We tried spinning on our sides like Uranus. 
• We played a moon matching game.
